Alan will be performing with his nonet to promote a new CD coming out on Sunnyside in early May. This powerhouse establishment includes Scott Wendholt (trumpet), Jon Gordon (alto sax), John Ellis (tenor sax), Douglas Yates (bass clarinet), Bryn Roberts (piano), Nate Radley (guitar), Matt Clohesy (bass) and Mark Ferber (drums). Also performing will be the Christ Stover Quartet featuring Sean Wayland (piano), Paul Gabrielson (bass), Jon Wikan (drums).

This is a bimonthly performance, production and discussion series by and for improvising trombonists. This is a revolving curatorial program featuring two performances, interview and a trombone choir session. Performances are professionally recorded and videotaped.

This is a private event. Guests and students welcome with $10 suggested donation to cover production and visiting artist fees.

58N6 is a private production space focusing on live performance and community work. The room is in a musician’s live/work loft in central Williamsburg, housing a beautiful piano and full A/V tracking capability. 58N6 is home to Scrootable Labs, a production and cooperative distribution startup.
